Danielle is an applied agricultural scientist. Starting her career in finance, she transitioned to research, completing her PhD which explored the carbon footprint analysis of broadacre livestock systems in southern Australia. As such, she has an in-depth understanding of emissions in agriculture, carbon markets and opportunities for farmers to track and reduce their own footprint. Prior to joining Planfarm, she worked at Curtin University, investigating how data and digital
technologies can improve farm productivity and profitability.

Danielle is now the manager at Planfarm TerraWise, bringing a decade of experience to the carbon advisory division of Planfarm. In this role she seeks to break down the complexities around farm emissions and carbon farming for clients, and to make use of digital technologies that enable farmers to make informed, data-driven decisions that align with their business goals. Danielle is passionate about sustainable agriculture and connecting growers to the opportunities that the rapidly growing carbon industry presents to them.
